What is Social Value

Social Value is comprised of jobs and economic growth; health, well-being and the environment; and strength of community.

"Social Value means in practice is likely to change from one job to the next, as different buyers will have different priorities when it comes to social value."

At Ventro Social Value is important to us as we strive on making changes to better people and have a positive impact on those close to our working projects and local communities. We are accredited for Social Value through Construction Line.

  • Barnardo's Clothing Donation

When it came to sourcing a new uniform supplier we had requested amounts of clothing samples which in any other light would have gone to waste. We could not bare to see them to in the bin so decided to donate the blank items of clothing to our local Barnardo's Charity Shop

Barnardo's protects, supports and nurtures the UK's most vulnerable children. For every £1 they spend, approximately 92p goes on working with the children and young people who most need help.
