What You’ll Do

You’ll carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across door entry, access control, and warden call systems. Working independently across multiple client sites, you’ll diagnose and resolve faults on platforms including Paxton, Tynetec (XT2 and Reach Digital), Tunstall, and Comelit - hitting first-time fix targets and attending warden call callouts within contracted response windows.

You’ll also install and commission new systems – from wiring and containment through to handover documentation – and provide end-user training to clients across healthcare, housing, and commercial settings. Accurate job records, compliance with BS 7671 and health and safety legislation, and a safety-first mindset on every site are central to everything you do.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• 3–5 years’ hands-on experience with door entry, access control, or warden/nurse call systems
• NVQ Level 3 or 18th Edition (City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent)
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across integrated electronic systems
• Installation and commissioning experience including wiring and containment (BS 7671)
• Experience across at least two sectors: healthcare, housing, commercial, or residential
• Full clean UK driving licence
• CSCS card, Asbestos Awareness, Manual Handling, and Health & Safety certificates
• DBS check required prior to appointment
• Confident, professional communication with clients, housing officers, and healthcare staff
• Ability to manage your own workload and prioritise reactive call-outs to meet SLAs
• Must hold CSCS card and relevant H&S certifications (Asbestos Awareness, Manual Handling)

Ideal:

What You'll Be Doing

You'll manage the maintenance and repair of door entry, access control and warden call systems. This includes maintaining audio and video door entry/intercom systems, , proximity card readers, biometric access control, magnetic locks, electric strikes, and warden call systems. You'll provide reactive and planned maintenance across commercial, residential, and industrial properties.

As a Door Entry and Warden Call Engineer, you'll diagnose and resolve technical faults, upgrade existing systems, and integrate door entry solutions with CCTV, building management systems (BMS), and fire alarm systems. You'll work with leading Access Control systems including Comelit, Paxton, KMS, Entrotec, Pearl Lion, Tynetec and Tunstall Warden Call systems. Your role includes testing and commissioning works, ensuring compliance with standards and current wiring regulations.

You'll attend client sites, provide system operation training to end users where needed, and maintain detailed service records. Your technical expertise will ensure all installations meet industry standards and client specifications. You'll also contribute to continuous improvement of our service delivery.

You will also be included in the on-call rota handling reactive call-outs in a geographical area, this is shared across the team of engineers.

The role demands someone who thrives on problem-solving - you'll be working independently across multiple sites while maintaining the high standards that build client trust. Your practical skills and customer-focused approach will be crucial in delivering reliable security solutions. Experience with IP-based systems, network configuration, and integration of multiple building systems will be highly valued.

The Role

We're looking for an organised, detail-focused Estimator Support to join the R.D. Jukes team. You'll provide essential administrative and technical support to the Estimating team - managing quotation enquiries from registration through to write-up, carrying out basic quantity take-offs, and inputting material and labour quantities into the Trimble estimating system. You'll also draw on strong electrical product knowledge to support estimators, and provide cover to the Procurement function during periods of absence or peak workload, including sourcing materials and equipment, checking supplier stock, raising purchase orders, and booking in deliveries. Day to day, you'll register and file quotation enquiries and drawings, issue and progress supplier enquiries, maintain the estimating database, attend weekly estimating meetings, and keep the business up to date on daily copper rate changes. It's a varied role at the heart of the business - ideal for someone who's organised, proactive, and comfortable managing a busy, detail-driven workload.

The Role

We're looking for an organised, proactive and reliable Contracts Administrator to join our Active Fire team. You'll provide essential administrative and coordination support to the Active Fire operation - scheduling engineers efficiently, booking and managing works, communicating site requirements, arranging permits, coordinating equipment, and ensuring jobs are invoiced accurately and on time. You'll be a key link between customers, sites, engineers, purchasing, accounts, and operations, helping to ensure works are correctly planned, booked, resourced, completed, and invoiced. Day to day, you'll liaise with customers and engineers by phone, email, and portal; apply for and manage permits; work closely with purchasing to make sure equipment is ready ahead of scheduled works; and prepare and raise customer invoices. It's a varied, fast-paced role, ideal for someone who's confident managing multiple priorities and takes ownership of tasks from first booking through to completion.
