Challenges

One of the Greatwell Homes properties features an automatic shut-off system designed to cut off the oil and gas supply to the building if an alarm is activated. While these systems are effective in preventing the spread of fire, they also cause the central heating system to become inoperative whenever an alarm is triggered, even during routine testing. This automatic shut-off can disrupt residents' comfort and raise significant concerns, particularly during colder months.

Solution

Due to the alarm system's automatic shutdown of the building's gas supply upon activation, it is crucial to respond swiftly and vigilantly to any faults or alarm tests. This prompt response is essential to maintain comfortable living conditions and prevent any inconvenience to residents.

Ventro has achieved a 100% compliance rate on this project and a 98% first-time fix rate, leaving Greatwell Homes confident, compliant, and extremely satisfied with Ventro Group's performance throughout the contract duration.
