Live Events: Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing
Live events continued to play an important role in Ventro Group’s 2025 programme, giving customers and sector professionals valuable opportunities for face-to-face learning, discussion, and collaboration. This year, the team attended and contributed to several major industry gatherings, including the Fire Safety Event, Housing 2025 and HOMES UK. Each event brought together a wide range of stakeholders across social housing, building safety, and compliance, creating spaces for deeper conversations about the sector’s most pressing challenges.
Our Building Compliance & Retrofit Summit 2025, in collaboration with Firntec and LivGreen, was a key highlight within the events calendar. The summit brought together housing providers, compliance leads, suppliers and regulatory advisers for a full day focused on practical solutions and forward-looking strategies. The speaker line-up featured well-known industry figures who provided clarity on the changing regulatory landscape and shared real examples from recent projects.

Neil Hope-Collins from the Building Safety Regulator offered a detailed update on the regulatory environment, helping attendees understand how new oversight and accountability structures will continue to shape the sector. Anthony Taylor, Chair of the Building Safety Alliance, explored organisational competence and the steps required to build effective, compliant safety cultures across housing teams. Fire-safety specialist Howard Passey added further technical depth, discussing the challenges of integrating safety measures into existing housing stock and how organisations can strengthen both passive and active fire protection.
Across the day, the sessions were designed to equip delegates with tangible, applicable knowledge. Case studies, regulatory breakdowns and technical insights helped housing professionals understand not only what the regulations require, but how to deliver it effectively in real-world settings.

The Impact of Our 2025 Events
The 2025 events programme delivered far more than strong attendance figures. Across webinars, exhibitions and summits, attendees consistently highlighted the depth of insight and practical guidance they were able to take away particularly in areas such as fire safety, building compliance and regulatory change. Speakers brought real-world expertise, from technical fire-safety engineering to sustainability strategy, allowing delegates to translate complex guidance into clear actions for their own organisations.
These events also played a significant role in strengthening collaboration within the sector. Housing providers, consultants, asset managers, fire-safety specialists and regulatory professionals came together to share experiences, compare challenges and discuss workable solutions. The rise in new contacts generated show that the events are not only informative, but also catalysts for ongoing partnership and meaningful engagement. This blend of knowledge-sharing and connection-building is helping create a more aligned, informed and proactive industry.

Looking Ahead to 2026
The momentum of 2025 provides a strong foundation for the year ahead. Ventro Group will continue expanding its webinar series, introducing sessions that address emerging regulations and the evolving responsibilities placed on housing providers and duty holders. Exhibitions and roundtables are planned to give professionals across the built environment sector opportunities to learn from experts, share best practice and build networks that support long-term improvement.
As 2026 approaches, the focus remains on delivering content that is practical, actionable and grounded in real experience. Ventro Group is committed to helping organisations adapt to new standards, strengthen building safety, and plan confidently for the transition toward decarbonised and compliant homes.
Ventro Group’s 2025 events programme has demonstrated the value of combining expert insight, sector engagement and hands-on guidance. Looking ahead, we remain dedicated to hosting events that inform, connect and inspire the professionals driving positive change across the built environment.
